Australia!

An amazing part of our New Zealand experience is going to Australia with Mom and Elaine. They look pretty close together on a globe, but there is a lot of ocean between the two countries.

We bid a sad farewell to our friends in Otorohanga (that town treated us very well) and traveled to Auckland for our flight to Sydney. We stayed at the airport hotel, which agreed to store our very large suitcases during our weeks in Australia. It was also pretty great to wake up and basically roll out of bed to catch our flight.

We took a spectacular rainforest hike, went zip lining (yes, we did!). We stayed on the beach in Port Douglas.
